The New Urus Vision 2.0 Kit By 1016 Industries For The Lamborghini Urus Performante Adds Forged Carbon Elements And A Wide Body Kit.

While Lamborghini unveiled the most extreme form of its SUV, the Urus Performante, in August 2022, the tuners and customizers around the globe have shown that there’s still much scope left to raise the bars of its extremity higher. The Florida-based 1016 Industries has just proved this theory by launching a new high-quality add-on kit comprising sporty design elements for the Lamborghini Urus Performante.

While the Lamborghini Urus Performante arrived with tweaked mechanicals over the standard version, 1016 Industries ensures that the visual appeal of the new version matches the added punch. According to the founder of 1016 Industries, Peter Northrop, this new Urus Vision 2.0 kit adds a few more elements to the already-available Urus Vision kit for the standard version, thus adding more aggression to an SUV which is already one of the most extreme-looking SUVs money can buy. This new kit is reversible and can be detached easily without the need to cut or hamper the original bodywork of the SUV.

The ‘2.0’ suffix in the new kit's name indicates an upgrade over the Urus Vision kit available already for the standard version of the Lamborghini Urus. The most significant-looking addition to this kit is the revised hood for the Urus Performante made of forged carbon. The kit adds more forged carbon to the fender flares and front lip, which go well with the updated front hood.

In addition to the generous use of forged carbon, the Urus Vision 2.0 kit for the Lamborghini Urus Performante also adds a body kit around the SUV. Adding 4.72 inches of width to the Urus, this wide-looking body flare package gives the SUV a more squatted stance. Even the rear profile of the SUV can be specced with a new rear diffuser included in this kit.

In addition to all the new elements mentioned above, the Urus Vision 2.0 kit for the Lamborghini Urus Performante by 1016 Industries also retains all the highlights of the previous Urus Vision kit. These highlights can be selected either individually or in totality, which includes bits like mirror caps, side skirts, side vents, front forks, front bumper uprights, trunk spoiler, roof spoiler, and symbol holder.

Currently, 1016 Industries has launched the Urus Vision 2.0 kit for the Lamborghini Urus Performante only in the forged carbon package, unlike the already available Urus Vision package offered in both forged carbon and carbon fiber packages. The prices for the Urus Vision 2.0 kit are yet to come out. However, 1016 Industries has cleared that the initial buyers of the new package will benefit from special prices, set to be increased in the forthcoming weeks.

The fully-equipped, previous-generation Urus Vision kit is available at $81,673 with the carbon fiber package and $90,330 with the forged carbon package. Considering the additional highlights in the Urus Vision 2.0, expect its prices to be between $95,000-$100,000. This expected price of the Urus Vision 2.0 kit might seem a tad too high for some. However, for potential buyers who can afford the Lamborghini Urus Performante worth $260,676, stretching their pockets with an additional hundred thousand dollars should not be a big concern.

The new Urus Vision 2.0 kit for the Lamborghini Urus Performante consists only of add-ons for enhancing the sportiness of the already aggressive-looking SUV. The package does not include any engine or chassis upgrades. However, it should not be worrisome, as the Urus Performante is prepped with a boost in performance and driving dynamics over the standard Urus.

The Lamborghini Urus Performante gets the same 4.0-liter twin-turbocharged V8 as the ‘regular’ version of the SUV. However, it has been tweaked to produce 16 hp more than the regular version of the Urus, while the torque output remains unchanged. To make the upgrade in performance feel even more exclusive, the Urus Performance has been kitted with a raspier-sounding Akrapovic exhaust and revised throttle mapping in all the drive modes.

Even the chassis of the Lamborghini Urus Performante has been tweaked with a new Torsen center differential, 0.8-inches lower ground clearance, new steel coils for sharper handling, and more aggressive tune-ups to the adaptive dampers. The new light-weighted elements have reduced the weight of the SUV by around 104 lbs. This new variant also has a ‘Rally’ drive mode for easing off the thrills of drifting on off-road surfaces. And the add-ons do not end here, for the buyers can spec their Urus Performantes with Pirelli P Zero Trofeo R tires and carbon ceramic brakes.
